WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a FCC Governance and Oversight VP in HQ , you will be part of the Headquarters FCC Governance and Oversight team within the compliance and Conduct function at SCIB. You will Develop a thorough understanding of the financial crime risk and its management within the unit, ensuring adherence to the Group’s FCC principles, appetite and control framework and granting that issues are duly documented and followed through to completion/resolution. Ensure Policy alignment as well as adequate reporting among other specific functions.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Develop a thorough understanding of the financial crime risk and its management within the unit
Ensure the adherence to the Group’s FCC principles, appetite and control framework.
Ensure that issues (Regulatory observations, Audit derived actions, self-identified issues, etc) are duly documented and followed through to completion/resolution.
Ensure Policy alignment as well as adequate reporting (MI, KRIs, KPIs, etc.)
Perform the challenge and the review of the metrics and RAS requesting the root cause and the actions plan as well as follow the resolution of the actions by the target date.
Identify through the metrics any potential risk or trend and ensure the proper escalation and management.
Perform the reporting requests to the CIB Committees, including provide the inputs and review the content to ensure that a proper escalation process is followed.
Be able to influence the design of the risk assessments and determine the oversight and escalation process
Influence the business on determining key metrics to measure the operational effectiveness of the controls.
Manage ad hoc regulatory and group requests via internal stakeholder management.
EXPERIENCE
Experience of at least 5 years in FCC related functions, analysis of the business in matters of risk, FCC. Valuable experience in positions related to the wholesale banking business.
EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree. A Master Degree related with this area is desirable.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking, markets, Global Transaction Banking, Global Debt Finance, Banking & Corporate Finance and financial products as well as of regulation in these areas.
Prior experience with a financial services company
Proven experience troubleshooting and discovering solutions quickly and effectively with exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
High level of English and Spanish.
