Associate Inventory Analyst [United States]


 
Position Overview:

Responsible for creating buy strategies by program and color to achieve OTB targets. Develops and maintains ladder plans for key products. Owns PO Management and creation.

What You’ll Do:
  • Informed of corporate financial strategies / KPIs and partners with inventory leaders and merchant partners to execute strategies into inventory plans and targets
  • Executes category level receipts flow through assessment of item level plans to create a seasonal buy strategy that supports EOP and key KPI metrics
  • Monitor inbound receipts flow and communicate to partners and leaders when purchase orders are arriving early or late and the impact to the business.
  • Owns in-season analysis and review of product placements to optimize customer experience and ensure optimal in stock levels and provides alternative options when applicable
  • Responsible for category level purchase order management including writing, issuing, tracking, and maintaining.
  • Execute PO revisions to ensure purchase orders accurately match quantities received by the Fulfillment Centers and partners with vendors, AP and FCs to reconcile differences
  • Owns monitoring risks to inventory and communicates inventory estimates, ST%, WOS to leaders and cross functional partners and makes recommendation to maximize inventory and mitigate risks
  • Executes back-order management process
  • Monitors and reports on changes to inventory levels and the risk impact to merchandising strategies and key KPIs
  • Maintains accurate data in the systems and provides reporting as needed
  • Maintains, and analyzes ladder plans for key core products and determine appropriate weeks of supply and appropriate timing for issuing Pos to maintain weeks of supply
  • Develop and foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandise Planners, Merchandise Managers, Logistics, Allocation and Replenishment Teams
  • Owns partnering with merchandising and planning on color and size mix % and accurately updating systems and purchase orders to reflect correct product size curves
  • Drives teams (planning and cross functional) to achieve goals and deadlines through smart work, clear communication and accountability
  • Embraces and learns new tools, systems and processes that ladder to corporate growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Equivalent work experience would be considered
  • 3+ years of allocation/replenishment experience
  • Planning and Forecasting system experience
  • Reporting tools experience, as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; requires proficiency in retail math
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Influencing & Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions at all levels of the organization that lead and influence others to action
  • Systems and tools Acumen: Advanced in Microsoft Excel with an aptitude to learn multiple inventory applications
  • Collaborations: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional partners

Compensation: $50,000 to $65,000/Year

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
