Your challenges
As our new Project Manager, you will step into a key role where you support and collaborate with our main stakeholders across different business units. You will establish and manage projects to develop and implement new products, technology, and manufacturing processes to ensure business continuity, production capacity and overall efficiency.
You help prepare and enable the production to support our New Product Launches in VELUX and ensure timely solutions in a manufacturing context. Alongside a team of motivated and highly skilled colleagues, you are the link between Production and Corporate product projects. Your key job is to use your deep understanding of production, flow, automation, and digitalization combined with your solid project management skills to ensure a smooth, high quality and on-time implementation of new or updated products, production processes and equipment.
You will achieve your results by building relations and collaborating closely with key stakeholders from our Production, Technology departments, Product Development organization as well as other internal stakeholders such as Logistics, Quality, Purchasing etc.
Your main tasks will be to:
Lead, facilitate and coordinate project activities within production, including project planning and stakeholder management
Ensure a holistic business approach to the project design and work break down
Collect data for business cases, process optimization, flow evaluation etc. to run projects as fact based as possible with strong success criteria defined
Enable and empower a project team
Ensure proper and sustainable implementation of the new products and solutions in the production
Be the “voice of production” in development projects.
Your qualifications
Naturally, you possess solid planning skills and know how to visualize a project plan and break it into suitable work packages – but to succeed in this role, it is absolutely critical that you lead your projects by interacting with people and not (only) via excel sheets and power point slides.
You critically evaluate the situation at hand, and you are willing to speak up to improve existing practices, making your opinions known in a constructive and solution-oriented way – and always with a focus on how to create value for the business.
You are result-oriented and persistent, and do not let go of a task until it has been completed in a satisfactory manner. You feel comfortable in an outreach role, and with your ability to communicate and involve yourself across different levels of the organization, you easily establish trust with your stakeholders. Creating visibility of activities and risks is a key focus of yours while motivating the project team to follow plans and respect deliverables and milestones.
Working with others as a team is in your nature, and you have a strong drive and get your energy from short deadlines and achieving results in close collaboration with colleagues from various parts of the organization.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
Have a technical degree, e.g. in Production engineering, Operational Engineering, Production technology or similar
Have a few years of practical experience with Project Management and have solid analytical skills
Have past experience in a production environment or with interface between development functions and technical implementation
Have a high degree of curiosity and throw yourself into new learning journeys
Speak and write English effortlessly, and you are able to have a conversation in Danish as well
