As a food service assistant, you’ll make a positive difference to our residents’ lives by helping support their health and wellbeing. If you’re seeking a role with real purpose where you can help offer meaningful care for our residents, come and join our fantastic team today.
This is a permanent, part time opportunity with a minimum of 9 hours per week available in our Aged Care Centre at Woonona.
Your work may include:
- Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
- Delivering and serving meals to our residents
- Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
- Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
- Helping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas
Your work may include:
- Being responsible for the preparation and provision of food services for our residents, whilst adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
- Being responsible for a range of other domestic duties including laundry services and cleaning of general accommodation areas.

To be successful you will have:
- Experience delivering hospitality services
- A genuine interest in Aged Care
- The ability to work a range of shifts, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings and evenings
- Experience in a similar role in a Health or Aged Care setting (desirable)
- A Food Safety Supervisor Certification (desirable)
